Description of open courseware
The Teacher-Friendly Guide™ to Climate Change is now available free online from the Paleontological Research Institution (PRI). The book addresses both the science of climate change and psychological, social, and political issues that add to the challenges of teaching and learning the science. It was developed with support from the National Science Foundation. The primary audiences for the book are high school and middle school science teachers, professional development providers and curriculum developers, but anyone interested in climate change and how to teach or talk about it will find it interesting and worthwhile.
