Agris Mundus: A top level master training in agricultural development and management of natural resources


• A two-years programme of 120 ECTS (European Credits Transfer System)
• Oriented towards the tropics and developing countries
• One year in one European University, the second year in another (Course framework)
• Double degree at the end

Partners delivering the course


Six of the most important European universities convened into the Agris Mundus consortium to offer the Agris Mundus Master of Science:

• Wageningen University and Research Centre (WUR), the university of life sciences of the Netherlands, with a mission to explore the potential of nature to improve the quality of life. WUR has a strong experience in developing countries, especially in the domain of land and water management;
• University of Copenhagen, Faculty of Sciences, is one of the European leading universities in the areas of food, health, plants, natural resources and environment, with a recognised expertise in agricultural development in the third countries;
• University College Cork (UCC), which hosts one of the well-known colleges in Ireland for agriculture and food industries;
• Universita degli Studi di Catania, the university in Sicilia, Italy, with a high experience in mediterranean crops and animals;
• Universidad Politecnica de Madrid the university in Spain which carries for years a deep involvement in the support to local development in Europe and the Americas;
• Montpellier SupAgro, the specialised training institution in France for agricultural systems in the Mediterranean, the tropics and the subtropics.
The Agris Mundus master course is also associated with 25 Associated partners.
