Project description

FLOODsite is an Integrated Project supported by the EC Sixth Framework Programme within the Action on Natural Disasters in the Priority Thematic Area Sustainable Development, Global Change and Eco-systems.

FLOODsite is the largest ever EC research project on floods, and will be completed in early 2009. The FLOODsite consortium involves over 30 of Europe’s leading institutes and universities and brings together scientists from many disciplines along with public and private sector involvement from 13 countries.

Floodsite has produced an enormous amount of reports and publications on flood risk management. The reports are publicly accessible. Please visit here to browse the reports.

The website also provides access to online demonstration of modelling tools and methodologies developed in the project.
