Summary
AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Entry Level Water Resources Engineer for employment in the Austin, TX office. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
• Builds hydrologic and hydraulic models
• Conducts engineering analysis under the supervision of anexperienced engineer.
• Analyzes natural hazards and performs statistical analysis of identified natural hazards
• Collects and analyzes data under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
• Uses computer software, particularly customized HEC-RAS & HEC-HMS tools in a GIS environment as a tool for solving basic engineering problems.
• Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule under supervision

Minimum Requirements
BA/BS + None or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Preferred Qualifications
• Master’s degree in Civil or equal from an accredited university or college.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• The ability to work well in teams.
• Hydrologic & Hydraulic modeling and mapping project experience.
• Proficiency with ArcGIS software.
• EIT strongly preferred.
