DESCRIPTION
Under direct supervision, the mechanical associate assists Engineers and Project Managers with tasks appropriate for a junior engineer, including data review, site review, field documentation, data collection, data organization, data analysis, pipeline engineering planning and design

•Assists in the calculation of cost and in determining the feasibility of project tasks based on analysis of collected data.
•Reviews project instructions and design drawings to ascertain test specifications, procedures, objectives, test equipment, nature of technical problems, and possible solutions such as part redesign, substitution of material or parts, or rearrangement of parts or subassemblies.
•Uses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks
•Performs a variety of pipeline engineering related design activities such as hand calculations, computer software modeling, technical writing and other computer-based analytical methods. Pipeline design may include hydraulics, structural and pipeline stress analyses.
•Analyzes indicated and calculated test results in relation to design or rated specifications and test objectives, and modifies or adjusts equipment to meet specifications
•Records analyses procedures and results, numerical, and graphical data, and recommendations for changes in product.
•Other duties as assigned



PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
•You’ll possess a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
•0-2 years’ related experience
•Excellent English language skills, written and verbal, are essential
•Individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
