Summary
The main responsibilities of the Meteorologist will be to develop models of atmospheric hazards including tropical cyclones, extratropical cyclones and severe convective storms; to bring an understanding of current topics in atmospheric science by conducting research and literature reviews; to compile and analyze historical and forecast datasets.

Responsibilities
• Develop models of atmospheric hazards including tropical cyclones, extratropical cyclones and severe convective storms
• Bring an understanding of current topics in atmospheric science by conducting research and literature reviews
• Compile and analyze historical and forecast datasets
• Provide documentation and scientific explanation for technical documents
Qualifications
• PhD in Atmospheric Science or related field
• Experience working with and developing probabilistic or dynamic atmospheric models
• Knowledge of statistical and physical meteorology
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
