NIWA is New Zealand\'s leading provider of climate, freshwater and ocean research and policy and management advice.
This is a fixed-term role covering a period of parental leave. You\'ll be part of the Communications & Marketing team and provide strategic communications advice and services to the science teams within NIWA\'s freshwater platform. We\'re looking for an experienced all-rounder to lead the platform communications, working with highly productive teams of scientists and communications professionals.
You will have seven to 10 years\' experience in senior communications & marketing roles and will have executed successful communications for large organisations. You will be an excellent writer and able to communicate with a wide range of audiences using a variety of channels. Experience working within the science/government sector would be an advantage, and an interest in our fascinating subject matter is a must.
