Summary
You’ll work within an interdisciplinary team conducting applied research and providing consulting services in support of national-level programs focused primarily on addressing a range of environmental and resource management issues, but may also work on other policy issues.
Duties will include analysis and synthesis of scientific literature, development and application of models, statistical methods, and other quantitative analyses to characterize environmental impacts, assess human health and ecological risk, support natural resources damage assessments, and support general environmental policy and program evaluation.

What you’ll be doing:
You’ll work within an interdisciplinary team conducting applied research and providing consulting services in support of national-level programs focused primarily on addressing a range of environmental and resource management issues, but may also work on other policy issues.
Duties will include analysis and synthesis of scientific literature, development and application of models, statistical methods, and other quantitative analyses to characterize environmental impacts, assess human health and ecological risk, support natural resources damage assessments, and support general environmental policy and program evaluation.
What you need to be a successful candidate for this role:
MA/MS in environmental sciences, engineering, or other relevant discipline, or an equivalent combination of degree and experience.
Excellent oral communication, writing, and analytical skills are essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree or a Ph.D. in environmental sciences, engineering, or a related discipline with an outstanding academic record.
Coursework in water resources management, hydrology, and statistics, as well as prior exposure to systems modeling and environmental risk assessment are highly preferred.
Preference will be placed on candidates with demonstrated proficiency or experience applying watershed or water quality models, analyzing environmental data, and using data analysis software such as ArcGIS or R to develop and implement analytic frameworks.
