We are looking for highly motivated, client-focused professionals to join our river and coastal engineering teams. With a strong portfolio of work including many high profile infrastructure projects being delivered for a range of risk management authorities, our team is expanding and we are looking to recruit a range of new team members.
Our projects require a mix of engineering, economic, scientific, modelling, statistical and written and oral communication skills. Projects cover flood mapping and appraisal, capital works delivery and asset management from strategic planning and conceptual design through to business cases, detailed design and construction support.

Based in Swindon where the teams are located, the successful candidate will have a track record of technical excellence in one or more of the areas detailed above.
You will be comfortable working with our sales teams to develop new business with public and private sector clients, but your primary focus will be on delivering projects to the highest technical standards, including mentoring and leadership of graduate team members.
Deliver projects and tasks on budget and to deadlines, working with the project managers and discipline leads.
Coach and mentor junior level staff.
Build and maintain good professional relationships with our clients which lead to secure repeat business.
Take ownership for the quality of project work to meet the highest standards.
Liaise with and support others across the wider UK and our design centers.

Have as a minimum an Honours Degree in a relevant subject.
Be Chartered or close to Chartership.
Be highly flexible and self-motivated towards improving team and personal performance.

Be skilled at collaborative working, with good interpersonal skills and able to communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders and colleagues.

Have expertise in one of the aforementioned technical disciplines.
Have the ability to produce high quality technical writing for bid and project work.

Have excellent written and verbal skills when communicating with stakeholders including technical and non-technical parties are essential.
Be a flexible team player, able to work with different project teams both locally and across remote offices.
